Kayley Bender

Kaley Bender

 Kaley is thrilled to be nominated as a finalist in the Sing for Scholarship program. Her love for music and singing started at a young age. She has been performing as a Muny kid and on the Muny stage for the past six years. She has also recently performed in A Christmas Carol at the Reperatory Theater. Kaley credits Lisa Fahey for all of her vocal training and performing skills throughout the years.

Lauren Raegan

 Lauren Raegan is a 17-year-old going into her senior year of high school. Currently, she takes private voice lessons with Mr. Ron Jones and piano with Mr. Randy Krueger at the St. Peters Performing Arts Studio. She was selected to the Missouri All-State Honor Choir and the Missouri All-State Vocal Jazz Ensemble her junior year. She has participated in All-District Honor Choir for all three years of high school. She has gotten a "1" rating and District and State Solo and Small Ensemble for three years. She has played major roles in her school's theater department, including Wednesday in the Addams Family and Carol in Catch Me if You Can. She sang with the Patt Holt Singers for the President and First Lady at the White House in 2014. She is excited to be here and hopes everyone enjoys her performance!

Ellie Schwartz

 Ellie Schwartz's first words, "Happy Birthday to You" were in song, and she hasn't stopped singing!! Ellie is 14 years old, and a Freshman at Visitation Academy. Ellie has performed with several St. Louis theater and opera companies including: Shooting Star Productions (School of Rock, Seussical, Mary Poppins, Jesus Christ Superstar), Gateway Center for the Performing Arts (White Christmas, Carrie the Musical), St. Louis Opera Theatre (The Very Last Green Thing) and Union Avenue Opera (Doubt). Ellie trains with Lisa Christine Fahey (voice) and Margaret Hassenstab (dance). Ellie would like to thank Miss Lisa and Miss Margaret for their expertise and encouragement. Special thanks to the River Blenders Chorus for their support of young singers and this amazing opportunity!!!
