Welcome to the rich tapestry of the River Blenders Chorus' history. As we continue to harmonize and inspire, we believe it's crucial to honor our past and celebrate the journey that has brought us to where we are today.

This page is dedicated to preserving the legacy and spirit that have been an integral part of our chorus since its inception. Here, you'll discover our humble roots, meet the visionary directors who have shaped our sound, explore the evolution of our logo, and relive cherished moments through a gallery of photographs spanning our years together. We'll also proudly showcase our awards, pay tribute to our Hall of Fame members, and commemorate significant anniversaries that have marked our growth.

A SERENDIPITOUS LEGACY

Pam Royle, Founding Member

The dream of building a chorus started one summer night in 1975. Just several years later (1977), there was serious talk about joining Sweet Adelines International. In December of 1978, the chorus received their charter and the following spring, the River Blenders went to Memphis for their first Sweet Adelines competition!
